sort of a half assed attempt at backgrounds because i need practice

I watched Up for the bazillionth time yesterday and I started thinking about what Russell would be like 10 years later. I’d guess he’d be a zoology major and still searching for adventure. Carl would pass away, which would cause Russell to want to take his ashes to Paradise Falls. Charles Muntz would have had a son, who, suffering from abandonment issues, would also be in Paradise Falls and tense interaction etc etc would ensue. Russell would bring his friend/love interested Catarina (because I can’t think of good names).

And… and that’s it. I’ll stop talking now. Here’s a silly doodle. I need to figure out backgrounds because I suck at that.

Potential re-working in the future, but for now it’s done.

Really enjoying how this whole thing is turning out so far - I’m really pleased with the initial sketch, the background seems to be working well so far, and the frog is just cute as hell  :3

I’m going to have to play around with light and shadow - I want it to look like there are leaves above - as well as getting a more bumpy/shiny texture to the frog.

But it’s just in the early stages, there’s much  more to be done!
